About the Role

I’m delighted to partner exclusively with a dynamic, fast-growing manufacturing SME in Sheffield to recruit a Finance Manager who will take full ownership of the finance function. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to shape strategy, enhance systems, and provide senior leadership with impactful financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the finance function and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide strategic financial insight
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes
  • Drive improvements in finance systems and operational efficiency
  • Mentor and develop junior finance team members
  • Contribute to business planning and strategic decision-making

 

Person Specification

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) – desirable
  • Proven experience in SME manufacturing finance – desirable
  • Strong leadership and team development skills
  • Excellent IT and finance systems knowledge
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative approach
