About Me

Anna studied Physical Activity, Health and Exercise Science (BA) at Sheffield Hallam University before beginning her recruitment career in 2016 with PLC recruitment firm Michael Page. As a former competitive gymnast, she brought discipline, focus and determination into her work from day one.

During her six years at Michael Page, Anna became a specialist in the qualified finance market, partnering with clients and candidates across Yorkshire and the Midlands. Her knowledge of the qualified finance community is extensive, and she’s known for her ability to understand exactly what businesses need - not just technically, but in terms of working style, personality and long-term fit. While Finance is her core specialism, she has also supported organisations across a broader range of functions, giving her a well-rounded understanding of how the businesses she partners with operate and what they need to thrive.

Anna joined Inc. Consulting in 2022, bringing her expertise and focused approach with her. She also works in partnership with ICAEW in Sheffield and Sheffield and District’s Chartered Accountants Student Society (S&DCASS), supporting events and initiatives for newly qualified and aspiring ACA professionals - something that aligns perfectly with her reputation in the qualified finance space.

After returning from maternity leave in 2025, Anna brings a lived understanding of balancing career and parenthood, and she’s passionate about supporting working parents and creating environments where they can succeed.

Anna’s Approach.

Anna is known for her focus and her ability to get to the heart of what a business or candidate really needs. She works with pace and precision, asking the right questions, gathering the right details and moving quickly to find the people and opportunities that genuinely make sense. She’s proactive, thorough and committed - whether she’s supporting someone with their next career step or helping a business secure a key hire. Her consistency, drive and high standards are a big part of why she’s so trusted in the qualified finance community.

Outside of Inc.

Anna lives in Sheffield with her husband and their little boy. She’s a keen runner and an active member of Sheffield Business Runners - and she’s fast. She ran the London Marathon in 2023 in just over three hours (3:02 officially, though we’re rounding down).

When she’s not out clocking up miles, she’s exploring Sheffield with her toddler in tow, enjoying time with friends and family, or finding a rare moment of calm on a spa weekend. She also makes an excellent lemon drizzle cake - something the team are very keen to keep her reminded of.

From the Team.

“Anna is the most focused person I’ve ever worked with. She approaches her work with the same precision and commitment she brings to her running.”

“She has exceptional questioning skills - she gets into detail quickly and understands what people really need. She’s incredibly well regarded across the region, especially within the qualified finance community. People trust her, and for good reason.”

“Down to earth, good-humoured, and a true team player. She brings discipline, professionalism, and a competitive edge - in the best possible way.”

We sat down with Sam to hear how putting people and their wellbeing first has shaped the way they work, the way their teams grow, and the way the whole business thrives. There’s plenty to learn from how simple, thoughtful wellbeing initiatives can make a real difference - both for people and for business results.
