About the Role
Inc Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a growing specialist tax advisory firm as they look to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager to join their expanding International & M&A team in Leeds or Nottingham.
This opportunity sits within an established national team of around 30 specialists, working across a broad portfolio of clients and sectors on a wide range of corporate tax advisory and compliance projects. The role has been created as part of the firm’s continued expansion and offers the chance to work on complex transactional, restructuring and international tax matters while developing your career within a collaborative and highly regarded team.
Role Responsibilities
- Manage and support corporate tax advisory and compliance projects for a diverse client portfolio.
- Work on M&A transactions, including acquisition and sale structuring and tax due diligence.
- Advise on corporate and shareholder reorganisations, demergers and restructuring projects.
- Prepare and review corporate tax computations and tax accounting work.
- Provide support on areas such as group relief, loss planning and corporate interest restriction calculations.
- Build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries while delivering a high standard of technical advice.
- Identify opportunities to support clients with additional tax services across the wider practice.
- Support and mentor junior team members as part of a collaborative team environment.
Person Specification
- ACA, CTA or ATT qualified.
- Experience working in a corporate tax advisory or compliance role within practice.
- Exposure to areas such as M&A transactions, restructuring or international tax would be beneficial.
- Strong technical and analytical capabilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive approach with strong organisational and project management skills.
What’s On Offer
This permanent role offers a salary of £50,000–£60,000 for Assistant Manager level and £60,000–£70,000 for Manager level, alongside hybrid working with three days per week in the office in either Leeds or Nottingham.
