Meet Our Recruiter

About the Role

Inclusive Consulting is delighted to be working exclusively with a successful, well-established business based in Sheffield to recruit an experienced Recruitment Manager. Offering hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a people-focused organisation with a genuinely positive culture, where employees are valued and there is a real commitment to supporting and developing their people.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced internal recruitment professional to take ownership of the recruitment function, shape its future direction and make a real impact across the business.

The successful individual will play a key role in developing and implementing a more structured and proactive internal recruitment strategy, introducing robust processes, improving recruitment systems and empowering hiring managers to take greater ownership of their recruitment activity.

With the opportunity to lead a small team and work closely with senior stakeholders, this is a role where you can genuinely add value, influence change and help establish a recruitment function that delivers an exceptional experience for both candidates and hiring managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Strategy & Process Improvement: Develop and implement a proactive internal recruitment strategy, introducing more structured, consistent and effective processes to support recruitment across the business.

  • Recruitment Projects & Systems: Play a key role in the recruitment aspects of a new business project, including implementing and embedding a new Applicant Tracking System (ATS), improving reporting and ensuring the system is used effectively.

  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring managers and senior leaders, providing guidance, training and support to give them greater confidence, ownership and autonomy throughout the recruitment process.

  • Talent Attraction & Employer Branding: Develop effective direct sourcing strategies, build talent pipelines and strengthen the business's reputation as an employer of choice, reducing reliance on external recruitment agencies.

  • Team Leadership: Manage, support and develop a small recruitment team, encouraging collaboration, accountability and a high standard of service across the business.

  • Recruitment Performance & Continuous Improvement: Introduce meaningful recruitment reporting and performance measures, using data and market insight to identify improvements, enhance the candidate experience and deliver better recruitment outcomes.

About You

We're looking for an experienced, commercially minded recruitment professional who enjoys improving processes, building relationships and making a genuine difference.

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Proven experience working within an internal recruitment or talent acquisition function, managing recruitment across a broad range of positions, from entry-level through to senior leadership and C-suite appointments.

  • Experience of developing and implementing an internal recruitment strategy, including introducing more structured processes, improving direct sourcing and reducing reliance on agencies.

  • Hands-on experience of implementing, developing or improving an ATS, including training hiring managers and supporting wider adoption across a business.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to advise, influence and challenge senior leaders and hiring managers when appropriate.

  • Previous experience of managing or developing a small team, with a collaborative, supportive and people-focused approach to leadership.

  • A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to hit the ground running, take ownership and deliver meaningful improvements with minimal handover or support.

  • Desirable qualifications: CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent), REC accreditation or a relevant degree/professional qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline would be advantageous, although relevant practical experience and a commitment to professional development are equally valued.

What's On Offer?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, established business with a brilliant culture and a genuine focus on its people. You'll have the autonomy and opportunity to shape the recruitment function, introduce meaningful improvements and make a lasting impact on the business. For the right individual, a salary of £45,000–£53,000 plus a car allowance and additional benefits is on offer. The business operates a hybrid working model, with three days per week in its Sheffield office and two days working from home. Some occasional travel to other business locations may be required, depending on business needs.
