Due to continued growth and the rapid expansion of its Valuations service line, the business is looking to appoint an ambitious individual to strengthen its established team. The Role

Working alongside experienced valuation specialists, you'll support the delivery of high-quality valuation advice to a diverse portfolio of clients across a broad range of sectors.

This is a varied and commercially focused position, offering exposure to interesting projects, direct client engagement and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise within a growing practice.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the preparation of business and share valuations for a range of tax and commercial purposes.

• Assisting with valuations relating to tax-advantaged share option plans, employment-related securities, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax.

• Contributing to valuation projects associated with corporate reorganisations and other business transactions.

• Undertaking financial analysis, researching businesses and sectors, and assessing the commercial factors influencing valuations.

• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and intermediaries, communicating technical findings and advice clearly and professionally.

• Working closely with senior colleagues and Partners to deliver high-quality client work, whilst contributing to the continued development and growth of the Valuations practice.

The Person

We're keen to speak with commercially minded individuals who enjoy working with clients, have strong analytical skills and are interested in developing their expertise within business valuations.

You may already be working within a Valuations team or have a relevant tax or advisory background and be looking to specialise in this area.

Ideally, you'll demonstrate:

• Previous experience or a good understanding of business and share valuations, ideally within a professional services or tax advisory environment.

• Knowledge of, or an interest in, valuations relating to share schemes, employment-related securities, Capital Gains Tax, Inheritance Tax or corporate reorganisations.

• Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, with an interest in understanding how different businesses operate and what drives their value.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial and technical information clearly.

• Experience engaging directly with clients and intermediaries, with a relationship-focused and collaborative approach.

• A relevant professional qualification, ideally CTA and/or ACA, although this is not essential, alongside a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to develop your career.
