About the Role

Inclusive Consulting is delighted to be supporting a growing business during an exciting period of expansion and transformation. We are recruiting a proactive and organised Purchase Ledger specialist to join their finance team on a permanent basis.

Backed by an impressive and high-performing executive team – many of whom have joined from well-established, major industry players – this business is on a strong upward trajectory. You’ll be joining a collaborative, friendly finance function that plays a key role in shaping the future of the organisation as it scales.

In this role, you’ll be solely responsible for managing the end-to-end Purchase Ledger function for the business, playing a key role in ensuring strong financial control and supporting continuous improvement across finance processes.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the purchase ledger, ensuring accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices
  • Process supplier invoices, ensuring appropriate approvals and timely payments
  • Respond to supplier and internal queries with professionalism and urgency
  • Monitor and manage the finance inbox, resolving queries within agreed service standards
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and system/process improvements
  • Collaborate closely with the wider business and contribute to a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

 

Person Specification

  • Strong experience in Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger roles
  • Familiar with Sage 50 (or similar) and confident using Excel for reporting and reconciliation tasks
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Confident working across teams, with excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Passionate about improving systems and processes to increase efficiency and control
  • Friendly, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team
