About Me

Becki studied Psychology (BSc) at the University of Sheffield before starting her recruitment career in 2016 with FTSE 250 firm Michael Page. There, she gained exceptional training, learned what good recruitment looks like, and progressed quickly, winning Manager of the Year in 2022.

Over the years, Becki has recruited across a wide range of business areas, including Finance, HR, Business Support, Marketing and Procurement. In 2024, she brought this multi-discipline background - along with her proactive, ideas-driven and people-focused approach - to Inc. Consulting , where she plays a central role in shaping the next stage of our growth. Her focus is on building strong operations, leading the team with integrity, and creating a recruitment experience that genuinely reflects our values.

Becki is passionate about social mobility and accessibility. She mentors students at Sheffield College, works with Sheffield Hallam Business School supporting third-year project groups, and regularly speaks on topics such as neurodiversity, inclusive hiring and building accessible workplaces. Her sessions have included guest talks for Rolls-Royce and SHEAF’s IWD Leadership Unleashed Conference, exploring why inclusive recruitment is both the right thing to do and commercially important for businesses. You can read more about her approach in this article with UnLTD magazine.

Her commitment to supporting the local business community extends beyond recruitment. Becki is an active member of the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce Council, contributing to conversations that shape the city’s business landscape and helping champion Sheffield as a brilliant place to start and grow a company.

Becki’s Approach.

Becki’s approach to recruitment is rooted in integrity, curiosity, and communication. She’s ambitious, thorough, full of ideas, and genuinely invested in helping people - whether that’s the team around her, the businesses she partners with, or the people she supports to find their next role. She balances high standards with a supportive, collaborative style, creating an environment where colleagues and clients feel heard, understood, and properly supported.

Outside of Inc.

Becki lives in Sheffield with her husband and their dog, Lola - who is now a regular at Inc. HQ. She keeps herself sane through a mix of swimming, weight training, and yoga, is a book-club regular, and is on a continuing mission to test every Italian restaurant in Sheffield. On Fridays, you’ll usually find her at Fagan’s, confidently claiming she’ll “only stay for one.”

From the Team.

“Her greatest strength is her emotional intelligence. She understands people - their motivations, their worries, the environments they’ll thrive in - which makes her exceptionally good at matching talent and developing people.”

“Becki brings not only a wealth of recruitment expertise and firepower - she’s a brilliant people manager. Highly empathetic, considerate, and attuned, there’s no one better to lead the team to success.”

“She’s the heartbeat of the team and has been instrumental in driving key internal and external projects. From ED&I to social impact work to managing relationships, Becki leads with energy and purpose. An outstanding coach and manager - she creates a space where people feel supported to do their best work.”

We spoke to Zoi Pisourika from Bhayani Law, an employment law firm working closely with employers across the Sheffield region and beyond.
