About the Role

Inc. Consulting is excited to partner with a well-established, fast-paced PLC to recruit a Regional HR Business Partner on a 13-month fixed-term contract. This is a highly visible, front-facing role supporting multiple regions across Yorkshire and the North West.

You’ll play a key role within a collaborative team, working closely with senior stakeholders including Regional Directors and Managing Directors, and contributing to board-level discussions.

This is a varied and hands-on generalist role, supporting a broad range of ER casework while also partnering with managers to embed strong people practices and drive performance across the regions.

This role would suit either an experienced HR Business Partner, or a highly experienced and progressive Senior HR Advisor looking for the next step.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end HR support across multiple regions, managing a wide range of employee relations cases including absence, investigations, grievances, and appeals.
  • Coach and support managers to confidently lead on people matters, ensuring best practice and employment law compliance.
  • Act as a trusted HR presence within regional leadership teams, attending board meetings and providing commercially focused HR guidance.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Regional Directors and Managing Directors.
  • Support proactive talent mapping and succession planning processes, working with leadership teams to identify and manage performance, retention, and potential.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team, supporting activity across different regions as required.
  • Promote a proactive HR approach, embedding HR as a valued and visible function across the business.
  • Some travel across regional sites, with flexibility to manage your own schedule and priorities.

Person Specification

  • Experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level.
  •  CIPD Level 5 qualified (or working towards), or equivalent experience.
  • Strong employee relations knowledge, with confidence in advising on a wide range of cases and coaching managers.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, operational environment.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative and adaptable, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across regions.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while remaining closely connected to the wider HR team.

What’s On Offer

  • Salary up to £43,000 plus a generous car allowance and fuel card for business travel.
  • 13-month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to start as soon as possible.
  • Flexible, supportive working environment with a strong team culture and hybrid working.
  • Highly varied role where no two days are the same.
  • 26 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior stakeholders and gain exposure to board-level activity.
  • Collaborative HR team with a strong focus on development and partnership working.

We are committed to providing a fair and inclusive recruitment process. If you require any reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process, please inform your consultant. While we are unable to respond to all unsuccessful applications, we are happy to keep your details on our CRM system for future opportunities. If you wish to have your details removed at any time, please contact hello@incconsulting.co.uk.
