About the Role
Inc. Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a global, market-leading organisation in their search for a Finance Manager, based in Hull.
This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function for a significant division within an international group. The business is known for its strong values, long-standing team, and supportive working environment, alongside a growing focus on modernisation and continuous improvement.
Working closely with senior leadership, both locally and internationally, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, delivering high-quality reporting, and driving enhancements across systems, processes, and ways of working. This position offers excellent exposure across the wider group, with genuine opportunities for progression and international collaboration.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all activities
- Manage and develop a team across transactional and core finance, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
- Oversee month-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate production of management accounts
- Deliver European reporting, including group submissions, analysis, and commentary
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain robust financial controls and audit trails
- Monitor financial performance, providing insight and recommendations to support business decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and international colleagues
- Support the implementation and optimisation of new systems and reporting tools
Person Specification
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - although strong QBE candidates will also be considered
- Proven experience in a hands-on, all-encompassing finance role within a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing and developing teams, with the ability to bring people on a journey through change
- Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to produce and review financial information with confidence
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both local and international stakeholders
- Proactive and self-sufficient, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement
- Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Experience within a multi-entity or international environment would be advantageous

This permanent opportunity offers a salary in the region of £60,000–£65,000, alongside a comprehensive benefits package including private healthcare, enhanced pension contributions, and 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays.
