About the Role

Inc. Consulting is delighted to be partnering with a global, market-leading organisation in their search for a Finance Manager, based in Hull.

This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of the finance function for a significant division within an international group. Working closely with senior leadership, both locally and internationally, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, delivering high-quality reporting, and driving enhancements across systems, processes, and ways of working. Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the finance function, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all activities
  • Manage and develop a team across transactional and core finance, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment
  • Oversee month-end processes, ensuring timely and accurate production of management accounts
  • Deliver European reporting, including group submissions, analysis, and commentary
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain robust financial controls and audit trails
  • Monitor financial performance, providing insight and recommendations to support business decision-making
  • Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, and reporting capabilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and international colleagues
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of new systems and reporting tools

Person Specification

  • Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) - although strong QBE candidates will also be considered
  • Proven experience in a hands-on, all-encompassing finance role within a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing and developing teams, with the ability to bring people on a journey through change
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to produce and review financial information with confidence
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both local and international stakeholders
  • Proactive and self-sufficient, with a mindset geared towards continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
  • Experience within a multi-entity or international environment would be advantageous
