We are partnering with a growing global business to recruit a Client Accounts Team Leader based in Cardiff. This is a newly created role driven by continued team growth and expansion. Job Description
- Lead and develop a team responsible for delivering accurate financial reconciliations across client accounts
- Oversee the integrity and safeguarding of client funds, ensuring strong controls and compliance are maintained
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and audit partners
- Manage workloads, priorities, and deadlines to ensure service levels and performance standards are consistently met
- Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation issues, providing clear insight and solutions
- Drive continuous improvement across processes, controls, and ways of working
Person Specification
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams within a finance or accounts environment
- Strong background in reconciliations, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
- Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Collaborative management style – supportive, empowering, and able to foster a high trust, high performance culture
On Offer
Salary up to £35,000 (DOE), with hybrid working (maximum 2 days in the office) and a great benefits package.
