An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Interim Management Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing business in Hull on a 5-month fixed-term contract until Christmas. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who can hit the ground running, quickly become part of the team and provide immediate support during a busy period, including year-end, audit and a major finance system implementation. We're looking for a proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership, using their initiative and adding value from day one. Job Description Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations. Support year-end activities and work closely with external auditors throughout the audit process. Play a key role in the implementation of a new finance/ERP system, supporting testing, process improvements and embedding new ways of working. Prepare meaningful financial analysis and management information to support business decision-making. Job Description Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual group consolidated financial reporting under IFRS. Manage complex group consolidations, including intercompany eliminations, foreign currency translations and supporting reconciliations. Produce consolidated reporting packs, cash flow statements and analytical reports for senior leadership teams and external stakeholders. Support lender and financing reporting requirements, ensuring information is delivered accurately and on time.
